Lyra at GFF 2024: A Milestone in Strengthening Indo-French Ties

Lyra’s journey to the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2024 began with a blank canvas—an empty booth and a powerful vision: to enhance Indo-French relations. Following our successful UPI launch at iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Galeries Lafayette, our participation in GFF 2024 marked a significant milestone in showcasing India’s innovation on the global stage.

The highlight of the event was the privilege of hearing from India’s Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, whose inspiring address underscored our collective efforts to shape India’s technological and innovative landscape.

Acknowledging the Support of Key French Delegates

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our esteemed French delegates: Patrick Branco Ruivo, CEO of the Eiffel Tower; Hemant Mediratta, CEO of ONE REP GLOBAL and the PR representative of India for Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, for their unwavering support and presence at the Lyra booth. Their contributions played a crucial role in making this event a success.

Lyra’s Ongoing Collaboration with NIPL and UPI’s Global Impact

Lyra is incredibly proud of its ongoing partnership with NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), which has been instrumental in our shared success. We were truly honored to collaborate during GFF 2024, an event where we proudly showcased the successful implementation of UPI at world-renowned locations like the Eiffel Tower and Galeries Lafayette—a true testament to the global reach and impact of UPI.

Insights from Visionary Leaders and Industry Pioneers

One of the most memorable moments for Lyra at GFF 2024 was the opportunity to engage with visionary leaders and industry pioneers. The session led by Prime Minister Modi provided profound insights into the future of technology and innovation, setting an exceptionally high benchmark for the event. His call to action for fintech companies to drive progress over the next five years resonated deeply with us, and we look forward to witnessing the growth and transformation in the fintech ecosystem in the years to come.

We were also honored to hear from Shri Shaktikanta Das, Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, who outlined a forward-thinking 5-point agenda for India’s financial future at GFF 2024. His vision and leadership are paving the way for India to emerge as a global financial powerhouse.

Additionally, we were privileged to receive a visit from Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, whose dynamic engagement at the event added tremendous value and significance.

UPI’s Global Reach and Future Expansion

UPI Global transactions already taking place globally, Lyra is immensely proud to play a key role in bringing UPI to France and beyond.
